We needed to convert all the Martinique cadastre to make it compatible with our archeology GIS software, Patriarche.
Patriarche, based on Arcview 3.3, needs the tabular data to be formatted in a particular way.
Thanks to an Arcview extension developed by DevOxyz, we can, in few mouse clicks, automatically, generate a Patriarche's compatible cadastre.
Therefore, we can, at each cadastre publication from IGN (National Geographic Institute), process and integrate the new data very quickly.

Urbis, our planning firm, was looking for an innovative way to present our studies.
We have chosen serious game and interactive 3D.
We will also use these technologies as decision support tools.
We wanted DevOxyz to create the first building blocks of our process in this domain.
There are very few gateways between the GIS and the realtime 3D worlds. DevOxyz has created a C# and C++ based converter to create a Virtools 3D file from a Mapinfo GIS buildings layer.
This is the first step of our 3D visualization tools production process.

We often use raster data to help us in our researchs.
Using old IGN provided maps, we can go back in time to target our archeological researchs more precisely.
However we need those maps to be georeferenced so that we can use them along with other GIS layers.
DevOxyz has achieved this georeferencing job using Mapinfo and provided a script to automize the creation of the corresponding files for Arcview 3.x.
This script allows us to save precious time.
